Black Point’s long stretch of sand lining a glistening bay makes it a popular destination for holiday makers.

Black Point is centrally located on the eastern side of the Yorke Peninsula, which is home to fantastic beachside towns, popular fishing spots, premier surfing destinations, heritage sites and much, much more.

You can stroll in the shallows to catch blue swimmer crabs, dive for scallops just off-shore or throw out a line for garfish, Tommy Ruffs and King George whiting or just spend your time relaxing on this glorious stretch of beach.

Accommodation

Black Point Camping Ground (signposted as Harvey Camp Ground) is the perfect base from which to explore this delightful region of South Australia.

Perfectly situated adjacent to the public boat ramp and trailer parking.

Black Point Camp Ground (signposted as Harvey Camp Ground) is the perfect base from which to explore this delightful region of South Australia.

It is a small camp ground consisting of 13 powered sites, 5 of which are overlooking the beach. The caravan &  motorhome sites are on a well maintained gravel surface with power and town water connected while the tent sites (sites 3-5) are situated on a lovely area of green grass with water & power available near by.

The public ablution block is open 24 hours a day. There are male and female toilets with disabled access as well as male and female hot showers and laundry facilities.

The caretaker calls each day to clean the amenities and to collect the fees outstanding. The Park is pet friendly.

The Camp Ground is perfectly situated adjacent to the public boat ramp and trailer parking.
